Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the world. Cardiotoxic effects can lead to heart failure, the inability of the heart to pump enough blood throughout the body which is due to cardiomyopathy. The present review is focusd on the plants that have been evaluated for cardioprotective activity against doxorubicin-induced cardiotoxicity. This review is based on pertinent
